At my workplace we have a dedicated group who volunteers to organize events year round. The most anticipated being our annual Christmas party. Everyone comes together to create a festive mood with food and decorations.
I have the great fortune to work with some of the best cooks and bakers bar none! The entire building permeates with wonderful aromas throughout the day.
The decorating elves transform our meeting room into a winter wonderland filled with snowflakes and candy canes. Setting the scene for a visit from old St. Nick himself!
Once Santa arrives hilarity ensues with a fun gift exchange game called Instead of doing the traditional gift exchange we have fun plaing the Santa Right/Left Game.
Everyone gathers in a circle as the poem is read . Whenever Santa says left or right you pass the gift in that direction. The hilarity sometimes come from the fact the games goes so fast and some of us (okay mostly yours truly) get their left and right confused.
As the last Mr. Right is read everyone opens their gift to discover their new treasure. Do believe everyone enjoys the game! Even those who don't participate love watching the fun.
I'm very fortunate to have such a wonderful work family. Think about the amount of time you spend with your co-workers sharing lifes many ups and downs. Is it any wonder they play a prominent role in your memories?
