Died Nov. 26, 1866
Sunday I wrote about an amazing gift our family received from three Find-A-Grave genealogy angels. These dedicated volunteers offered to take photographs of headstones and transferred well over fifty records to my account.
Because of an act of genealogy kindness this headstone is part of our family history.
Yesterday I received these photographs from James, my new genealogy friend. The pictures are from the Platt family section of Pierce Hollow Cemetery in New Haven, Connecticut.
Without the army of volunteers selflessly working to gift families with vital information, our research would come to a screeching halt. We all need to pay it forward in the quest to help our fellow genealogists.
