Happy Birthday, America!

Over the years we have celebrated the 4th of July in many locations. Our children have seen fireworks in Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Colorado, Antietam National Battlefield, and downtown Baltimore.

Those places were exciting to honor our nations birth, but I believe their favorite was their own backyard. Burgers on the grill, watermelon on ice, and badminton. Enjoying our small town parade and fireworks display.

Our daughter Starr has always been the family holiday enthusiast. Making sure the table was properly adorned and creating festive decorations. Now that she is married I imagine her husband will be decked out in red, white, and blue today.

Below are several pictures taken during our 4th of July adventures.

Wishing you a day filled with yummy food, great company, and a sky filled with amazing fireworks show. Have a safe and happy fourth of July!
