Sunday's Obituary - Sarah Virginia Starr

Miss Sarah Starr

Miss Sarah Starr, 89, one of Littlestown's oldest residents, died at the home of her nieces, the Misses Rose and Ella Barker, West King street, Saturday evening at 9:05 o'clock. Miss Starr's death followed an illness of three days.

She was the daughter of the late Alfred T. [P] and Matilda McSherry Starr and was born and spent her entire life in Littlestown. She was a life-long member of St. Paul's Lutheran church.

Surviving are the Misses Barker, with whom she made her home, and a number of other nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with services at the Barker home. The Rev. David S. Kammerer, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran church, will officiate. Interment will be made in Mt. Carmel cemetery.
