Follow Friday - The Graphics Fairy & Blogging Gems

I love the Graphics Fairy! On her site she states there are over 1,600 free clip art images, that you can use for craft, projects, collage, DIY, scrapbooking, web design, etc! The above image is one of my current favorites.

Here are the terms of use from the site:

The Graphics Fairy is an Angel Company. You are free to use all clip art and photos, with the exception of the banner and any guest photos, in any of your projects created for resale or pleasure. Please do not use more than 6 of the graphic images within any one project, or within a single page of a blog or website. A link to the Graphics Fairy is very much appreciated, when including clipart on your blog or website.

The Graphics Fairy images were created or published pre 1923, which places them in the Public Domain. Karen, the Graphic's Fairy, states that she does a fair amount of research to make certain her images are in said Public Domain before she posts them to the site.

Just a few categories of available images are animals, holidays, old photos, and ephemera. So if you are interested in vintage images make sure to visit The Graphics Fairy!

Lastly, if you had not heard Amy Coffin over at The We Tree Genealogy Blog has kicked of the new year in style! She started a new series called "52 Weeks of Personal Genealogy & History." Thomas MacEntee at Geneabloggers will be hosting the series, so jump on over and join the fun!

Happy Follow Friday!
