Those Places Thursday - Memorials to Veterans : Washington D.C.

We are fortunate enough to live a short drive from our nations capital. Over the years we have celebrated Fourth of July, Memorial Day, and Veteran's day together in Washington D.C. On this Veteran's Day I wanted to share a few photographs taken of memorials commemorating our brave men and women. Happy Veteran's Day and thanks for your service!

World War II Memorial

Korean War Memorial

Vietnam Memorial

  5. I loved these impressive photographs and they brought back memories of a visit to Washington DC some years ago when we visited the Vietnam Memorial and Arlington National Cemetery. I have found the remembrance blogs very moving.
