Tombstone Tuesday - Ouija anyone?

Last year I went on a tour of the Green Mount Cemetery in Baltimore, Maryland. Most people would think it odd to spend a lovely fall day touring a cemetery. Pretty sure most of my genealogy friends would think it was a huge treat!

Green Mount is a garden or rural cemetery. Buried here you will find the famous and infamous. Several famous being Johns Hopkins, Walter Lord, and Elizabeth "Betsy" Patterson Bonaparte. The most infamous being John Wilkes Booth.


This headstone captured my attention pretty quickly. It's for Elijah Jefferson Bond, patentee of the ouija board. Just one of the many interesting monuments in an equally interesting setting.
